Andre is one of seven in his family. Ashlee 30 years old, a three-year letter winner at Texas Tech University and played basketball professionally overseas for 4 years. Amber 28 years old, four-year volleyball letter winner with the University of Texas and played volleyball professionally overseas for 6 years. Arielle 25 years old, played for the CU women’s basketball team 2011-2015 and West Virginia Mountaineers 2015- 2016. Anthony , 23, just graduated from University of Central Oklahoma. Aaliyah, 14, is becoming a freshman in high school. Arianna, 12,is a 7th grader. Andre's Dad John played basketball at the collegiate level for New Mexico State and professionally overseas for 12 years. His mother Lisa played volleyball at New Mexico State.

As a family they traveled overseas (Finland, Sweden) for a few years while John played professional basketball. Since 1996, the family has lived in San Antonio, Texas.
