ABOUT

Andre Roberson was born to John and Lisa Roberson on December 4, 1991 in Las Cruces, NM. His Dad played basketball collegiately at New Mexico State (1985-89) and professionally overseas for 12 years. His mother, Lisa, played volleyball at New Mexico State (1985-89). He is one of seven in his family, with everyone playing high level athletics between basketball and volleyball.

Basketball has always been important to Andre. He grew up in gyms his whole life. It was a lifelong dream that started in the 2nd grade to play in the NBA. He worked very hard and made many sacrifices to achieve his goals.

Andre received a full scholarship to University of Colorado and was the first student-athlete signed by Coach Tad Boyle. He became one of the top players over the 3 years he was there and was drafted after his junior year, originally to the Minnesota Timberwolves as the 26th pick in the 1st Round. Then was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is currently continuing his career with the Thunder and recovering from an injury and will be back to excel in the 2018 season.
